What I offer

Are you looking for a mobile practitioner that offers traditional therapies in Deloraine, Launceston, Hobart and Wynyard?

Would you like to move your body freely, manage daily stress, and enjoy genuine long-term health and wellbeing?

Traditional therapies are known for their long histories of use and beneficial effects. They look at the cause, take the whole body-mind-soul into consideration and provide a non-invasive holistic solution.

Please read on about what I offer…

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage (TTM) is a unique form of massage, where both the practitioner and client engage in an interactive form of yoga together. Various yoga poses, dynamic stretches, meridian massage and acupressure points are employed in the treatment of different kinds of hip, pelvis, knee, foot, shoulder, neck and back complaints. Range of motion is increased and release, relaxation and wellbeing are typical after effects.

Thai massage is traditionally performed lying on a mat, but it can be adjusted to a table or chair if you have limited mobility. An authentic Thai massage takes a minimum of 90-minutes. This massage is not the same as a deep tissue or sports massage. It is a holistic treatment that treats the body-mind.

Prices

  • 90 min Traditional Thai Massage (front and back) - $140
  • 120 min Traditional Thai Massage (front, back, side, sitting) - $180
  • 180 min Traditional Thai Massage (full body deluxe) - $260

If you are really short on time, I offer:

  • 60 min TTM Face, Head, Neck & Shoulders - $90
  • 60 min TTM Abdominal Massage - $90
  • 60 min TTM Foot Massage - $90

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is one of the oldest forms of therapy and has been in use on every continent around the world. Cupping can be administered as an invigorating and relaxing massage, or as a way of mending, knitting and releasing our fascia, or applied to specific organ channels, acupressure points, marma points, muscle and joints, or a mix of all the above, for the purpose of relieving tension and pain, as well as activating the body’s self-healing ability.

Cupping is performed on a table or chair. The area to be treated is exposed, and the rest of the body kept warm and covered. Gua Sha and Moxibustion are often employed at no extra cost during a cupping therapy session.

Prices

  • 60 min Sliding Cup Massage (general wellbeing) - $90
  • 60 min Cupping Therapy/Gua Sha/Moxa (relief & recovery) - $100

Nutritional Therapy

Food is one of the best medicines we have available. For any kind of therapy and treatment to be truly effective, an assessment of one’s diet (food, drink, medication), eating habits (time, place, amount) and environmental variables (e.g. noise, technology, pollution, etc) are essential.

Food is fuel and the type of fuel we choose influences how well our body, mind and soul function. Food is not only digested and absorbed by the body, but it is central in eliminating toxins out of the body and maintaining overall wellbeing.

The type of nutritional therapy that I offer combines knowledge of Western, Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine dietary principles, and is largely focused on a pure vegetarian diet.

Some of the areas I focus on include:

  • Digestion and absorption as keys to health
  • Food, herbs and drink as medicine to heal the body
  • Hydration
  • Seasonal eating
  • The warm and cool nature of food
  • Adjusting diet to our lifespan

Prices

  • 30 min Nutritional Therapy session $40
  • 60 min Nutritional Therapy session $75

Nutritional therapy is also available by email and Signal/Telegram.

Holistic Exercise

Movement is essential to long-term health; it’s both a form of preventative and therapeutic medicine. Without any kind of movement, the body’s energy, blood, lymph, etc., slow down, stagnate or weaken resulting in pain and a range of health issues.

I prescribe exercises for my clients, regardless of whether they receive a massage, cupping therapy or follow a nutritional therapy plan. Yoga, Qigong, bodyweight exercises and Kettlebells are my ‘go to’ for whole body strength, mobility, endurance, health and fitness. The hot and cold therapy of sauna and cold water swimming, and time spent out in nature are also a feature (see below).

Prices

  • 60 min Private Classical Yoga class $40
  • 60 min Private Health and Wellness Qigong class $40
  • 60 min Personal Training session $40

Thanks to the internet, no matter where you are, I can teach Yoga and Qigong. Would you like an class for yourself or a group of friends/family? Contact me and let’s make it possible. Classes can be held online via Zoom.

Nature as Medicine

Nature is one of the most powerful sources of healing available to us. Building and nurturing a deep relationship with nature as a part of a healing program is something not often considered today, but it’s one that’s essential to our health, well-being and self-understanding. Studies have repeatedly shown how nature heals trauma, reduces stress, calms the mind, grounds the nervous system, balances emotions, unveils unknown aspects of our self, and helps us experience the wholeness of life.

There’s something magical about being outdoors that takes us deeper within ourselves. The feelings of genuine freedom, peace and presence are indescribable. Discover what it means to be silent, to tread softly and prepare your body, mind and soul for the next adventure in your life.

I can integrate nature into your treatment plan, from gentle walks to day hikes, or wild swimming to wild caving.

If you’d like something a bit more immersive, I also offer outdoor retreats. There’s a choice of:

  • Half-day, full day and weekends from 2026
  • Multi-week retreats in Fjord and Central Norway from 2027
