Fantastic effort and congratulations go out to Harriette Thompson, who at the age of 92 years, completed the San Diego marathon. She set a world record with her age, and took about 7 hours to finish the race. When asked how she felt, she replied “a little stiff.” But she was determined to do it, and her son Benny pumped her with a whole lot of “delicious” carbs to keep her on the move. The oldest man to have ever completed a marathon was Fauja Singh, at 101 years, back in 2013.
