Qi Gong has many purposes and uses, for example, Qi Gong to develop health, Qi Gong to develop spirituality, Qi Gong to develop martial art. One of the most essential Qi Gong sequences you can do for health is Ba Duan Jin. It is the eight pieces of brocade or eight silk movements, which are eight movements developed to boost energy, qi flow and health within the internal organs and their meridians, as well as general immunity and strength of the body. Learning eight movements is less daunting than learning a long Taiji sequence.
